These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI-powered news aggregator app("Scopophasma"). By accessing or using Scopophasma, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Scopophasma.

We do not create original news content unless explicitly stated. All third-party content remains the property of its respective owners.

4. AI Features and Limitations

Scopophasma includes AI-powered features that process user inputs and generate automated outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI outputs are probabilistic and not guaranteed to be correct
  • You should independently verify important information
  • Scopophasma does not guarantee neutrality, completeness, or absence of bias

5. User Content and Inputs

You retain ownership of content you submit to Scopophasma, including AI prompts and preferences ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display such content solely to operate and improve Scopophasma.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the rights necessary to submit the User Content
  • Your User Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

10. Termination

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF Scopophasma.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ZERO IF NO FEES WERE PAID.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of Scopophasma
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your User Content

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
